Three of our 35 year age-group athletes are re-writing the Australian record books!
Wendy Seegers has completed her set of Australian W35 sprint records with a stunning 12.17s 100m in Saturday’s Jandakot Track Classic. Only last week she broke the 200m at a Strive meeting, while last year she captured the 60m. These had all been long-standing records belonging to our own Kath Holland.
Scott Tamblin continued his record-breaking spree with an Australian M35 mile record at the Track Classic in 4:11.78. This follows his 1500m record in January
To complete the story Melissa Foster jumped to an Australian W35 Triple Jump record with 11.59m. That record had belonged to our own Eileen Hindle.
