The 3rd day of competition saw many more medals for our athletes. Some very good performances with special mention to MAWA throwers in the Throws Pentathlon who came away with 2 gold, 2 silver and 2 bronze.

MAWA athletes continue to do well with another 33 medals on Day 2, ten of which were for 1st place.  Congratulations to Irwin Barrett-Lennard who this morning set his 2nd pending AR (5000m) following his performance yesterday in the steeplechase.

MAWA athletes did very well on the 1st day of the Nationals in Sydney. 35 medals in all, 16 of which were Gold. Particular congratulations to Peggy Macliver and Tom Gravestock – new SR’s in 60m and Hammer respectively.
