Please see the notice from VenuesWest:
We have just been advised of a Cycling event on Saturday 29th March, which of course is on the same day as your Masters State Champs. They have arranged road closures on this day, which will affect entry through the main entrance to Challenge Stadium.
The entry in front of the Basketball Centre will not be affected, along with entry via Brockway Rd, behind Challenge Stadium past the UWA sports park.
Stephenson ave – Northbound lane will be closed, along with a few others in the surrounding area.
Further information (along with maps etc) can be found on their website: http://www.uwctperth.com.au/road-race/road-closure-info-rr.html
This event has nothing to do with VenuesWest, we have just been advised of the road closures so I wanted to give you as much notice as possible to get this information out to your athletes to ensure the impact is minimised on the day.
This is a BIG plea to all renewing Sunday competitors to look again at their help dates. Many members have used help dates they did in January, February or March which they had already nominated when renewing last year. This will leave us with a shortfall of helpers for the balance of this year.
Please help for this year by nominating 2 help dates between 1 April and 31 December 2014 when renewing and not dates already done.
I will be SO grateful and a much nicer person!
