Last Sunday's Run

Ashfield - January 29

Thankfully the extreme temperatures of the previous three days eased for this run. Just under a hundred runners and walkers enjoy the race through parkland alongside the river to the 5km turn. Those who continued for the full distance then ran or walked through the swampland area, surrounded by many bird species on the water and in the trees to Granby House and back. It was another excellent run, very capably managed by Karl and Sandra Stockman with their numerous helpers.

NEXT RUN 1: Sunday February 5: Friendship Run - joint with our friends at the Marathon Club. 11km/5.6km. Saw Ave., Kings Park 7.30am start.

NEXT RUN 2 Sunday February 12: McCallum Lakes 8.4km/4.2km. McCallum Park, Taylor St., Victoria Park. 7am start. Morning Tea after the run (50c).
