Newsletter (TFNL)

During the Summer season, the club produces a monthly electronic newsletter which is dedicated exclusively to track and field events. It contains athlete profiles, news from our various meets and analysis of results.

Summer

We meet twice a week from October to March, both meets starting at 6pm until around 7.30pm. On Tuesdays the venue is The WA Athletics Stadium, Underwood Avenue, adjacent to Challenge Stadium. On Thursdays the venue is the Ern Clark Athletics Centre, Wharf Street, Cannington. There are usually four track races and one jump at each meet. The Thursday meet also includes two throws events.

Winter

The Thursday programme at Ern Clark Athletics Centre continues through the winter, but it is track only.  New this year is a winter track meet on a Tuesday at WAAS. This began on May 3. There are usually five events at each meet, with the 6pm start time as normal.  2011 Winter Programme

Results archive

Weekly and monthly results from WAAS and ECAC are now available here

An archive of the best three results in each age group from all T&F competitions over the year from April to March is available. This list includes all major track events. For Club Tops from the years 2009 to 2011 see the Records page.

National Championships

The AMA National Championships are held over the four-day Easter weekend each year. The venue varies from year to year.

In 2012 they will be in Melbourne. For latest championship information, go to the AMA website
