Athletics West Female Masters Athlete of the year Sue Coate turned 60 on Wednesday.
She celebrated last night with State Records in the 80m hurdles, smashing the record of training partner Maureen Keshwar, and the 200m, eclipsing Peggy Macliver’s long-standing record by just three hundredths of a second
No doubt Sue has further records in her sights.
Sue will compete in the WMA Championships in Daegu in August as part of a strong MAWA team.
