WHAT a busy December and January it has been with the Patron’s trophy rounds before the Christmas break and the two January rounds to decide the winners.
The battle went down to the final round on January 23 at Ern Clark Athletic Centre (Coker Park) with Cathy McCloskey and David Carr taking victory. Turn to pages 4-5 for final night’s results.
Early in January more than twenty MAWA athletes headed to Bendigo to compete in the 2014 Oceania Games. A special TFNL on MAWA athletes will be out in a couple of weeks.
The State championships are in March and entries close on February 25. Turn to page 6 for further information.
