John Oldfield will be celebrating his 500th parkrun at Averley this coming Saturday. He would love friends from MAWA to join him and has offered to stand MAWA members a coffee after the event.
For newer members who don’t know John, he made a huge contribution to the development of the club. He set up our website, established a superb archive of track and field results and maintained a register of club bests for a whole range of non-World Athletics events.
John has also reached the impressive milestone of 250 parkrun volunteers.
