The ‘new tag’ team would like to thank all members for remembering their tags and following the instructions give at the finish area. The trial went very smoothly, and the results using the new system were compiled very quickly.  A further trial will be carried out at the next run

The new system will definitely be trialled at Thornlie this Sunday. If you already have your tag, please remember to bring it and carry it on the run. If you do not, please collect it before the start of the run.

Many congratulations to Gillian Young for becoming MAWA’s latest holder of an individual World Record. Gillian broke the W70 2000m Steeplechase record at the OMA Championships in Dunedin with a time of 10:03.49.

At ECAC we have to borrow high jump equipment from Little A’s. Unfortunately they will not be there this week and we have ascertained that they have no-one who can unlock the equipment. So unfortunately the event is cancelled. There is high jump at WAAS tonight
