Twenty MAWA members completed the Perth Marathon yesterday, and there were some great performances. Foremost was Rochelle Rodgers who picked up awards for first female overall, State Champion and age group winner. She will also collect the Jim Barnes Trophy for her 82% age-grade.
New member Matt Di Masi was first MAWA athlete home and collected a State Record and a 75% age-grade. David Baird was on course for a State Record but faded towards the end. Other 70%+ achievers were Kim Thomas, Mitch Cleasby, Kevin Johnson and Clare Wardle.
